I - A little mouse lived in a barn with his family and every year he celebrated Christmas day unpacking gifts and eating cheese and chocolate. This year...
R - This year Christmas came with more gifts: he was receiving an interesting toy: a nice machine; he was very happy but confused in the same time because he didn't know how to start it. Then...
I - He went inside the machine trying to understand how to start it and said: "this Christmas..." he couldn't finish the sentence because it started and begun to move "Christmas" was the magic word to start it. How can I stop it now? Said the little mouse
R - He saw a book of instructions which he opened and read understanding how to operate the machine. He took the family and they travelled around the world. The first country
I - The first country they went to, was Italy: they visited a city called Florence: monuments, churches and so on the city was really beautiful but there were too many people and the mice liked something more quiet so they tried a little town westward of Florence, called Campi Bisenzio The town wasn't big, but nice and quiet. They liked it. At a certain point they heard music coming from the theatre and went inside to listen.
There were the children from the primary school singing Christmas carols. The songs were beautiful and all the mice enjoyed them. When the children went home with their parents, the mice stayed in the theatre for the night and slept very good.
Before sleeping they watched all the pictures shot during the day:
The next day...
R - After they woke up, they left in order to finish their journey. They went outside the theatre. It was snowing very hard. They were very cold. The snow had covered the little car. They tried to look for it but the snow prevented them. All frozen up and with tears in their eyes........
I - They didn't know what to do but they heard a familiar humming: the children going to school and singing the Christmas carols of the night before. The mice asked for help and the children brought them to school and gave some food to them. At a certain point a mouse was seen by a teacher who begun screaming and hopping here and there in the classroom. The school was closed because of the mice but the children (very happy for the "mouse holiday") brought back the mice and helped them find the little car an clear it from the snow. The mice thanked the children heartedly and went off.
R - A child from that school ran after the little mice and told them that he was about to leave for a trip in European countries. He asked the mice if they wanted to go with him.
I - The mice said yes, they would love it. So the boy put them in a suitcase an took a plane toward Kiev. but at a certain point while flying over Darmanesti in Romania, somebody saw the mice and there was a general screaming. The pilot thought that something terrible, maybe a hijacking was happening. He shut his door and decided for a quick emergency landing. There wasn't an airport in the surrounding but a straight road on the West of the town. He did the landing quite well. Everybody got out of the plane using the emergency slides...
R - Immediately came the Police and the Ambulance. The little mouse skirted and he was gone. He walked very sad on the streets and he stopped at a school. There he saw some children a festivity. He has assisted at the spectacle about the Union of Romanian Principalities. All the children asked him to stay with them in the next week, to see more places in their town. The little mouse said
I - "Yes, we like here and I think we'll stay here. We've just found a nice barn, just out of the town. It's like our old home. Besides, when we tried to start our machine saying "Christmas", it didn't work anymore, and we think it's because Christmas holidays are over"
So all the mice stayed there and lived happily thereafter.
